We made it...almost.
Our first baby since the American Academy of Pediatrics
changed the rear-facing guidelines to two years old.
Just two weeks shy of his 2nd birthday and today
we flipped his car seat to face forward.

Hubbs and I attended one of those "come listen to an hour presentation
about a time share and we'll give you a free gift" things this week.
We scored a free trip for two to New Orleans, including airfare and hotel.
And we stayed strong on our rejection of the sales pitch.
Boo Yah!

My mom never let us play Yatzee because it was "gambling".
I'm just realizing now how crazy that stance was.
I have still never played.

Remember when you were a teenager and you thought
Subway sandwiches were so healthy and gourmet?
