Claire Daines is very petite and thin (as her breastbone can attest to) and those large chains are way too bulky for her small frame. And should we talk about the Mom Hair? The worst.
Tracy Ellis Ross is gorgeous, but why the awful dress? The color is great on her, the fit is perfect, but those oddly placed cutouts are ruining the entire look!
I'm not a great lover of
January Jones' style, but this time she has gone too far. So awful and mermaid-ish and that odd broach on the waist? Listen, I don't even know
Joanna Newsom who is, but I'm still personally offended by this choice. Every single part of it is wrong.
I looove
Kathryn Hahn. I think she's a really unappreciated female comic in Hollywood, but this look isn't helping her case on getting more starring female roles. She was this close to being my worst dressed (but someone came dressed as Big Bird after being assaulted).
Rhetta is lovely, but this dress has FAR too much happening. I might have loved it if the skirt had just been a straight, white, colomun with a train, but those added petals are a disaster!!!
Naomi Watts...how DARE you?! This is like a slap in my face!
Taryn Manning came dressed as Evlira, but with much more awkwardly pointy boobs. This dress is not flattering, not modern and not elegant in any way.

Do I really need to say anything about these dresses? Okay, I will.
Nazanin Boniadi has tons of wrinkles in her nude fabric. Total No-No.
Naomi Grossman's gown is just awkward and unflattering. No one wants to see your nude mesh covered belly button.

Ellie Kemper looked AMAZING in this chic, elegant, modern, striped gown. Loved everything about this look.
Anna Chlumsky always looks good and I loved her look. Kind of risky, but not too out there.
Jessica Pare looked simply elegant in this pink gown. Her hair and make-up are perfect for this look.
Jamie Brewer had an amazing dress. I didn't love the hair, but that dress is killer.
Gina Rodriguez does a great job on the red carpet and this look was no exception. I love that it's young and fresh, like her, but also elegant. The styling is perfection. Hello,
Penelope Ann Miller!! It is not possible that she is 51! Look at how gorgeous and hot she is in this gown!
RED HOT
Niecy Nash and
Morena Baccarin both looked red hot in these dresses. They both also had perfect styling to go with their gowns. This is a great example of how one can rock a pink lip with a red gown OR go with matching, deep, red lips. Both worked for these women.
WHEN RISK PAYS OFF
Kerry Washington took a risk with this gown and I love the results! It's so different and gorgeous and hot!
Uzo Aduba wore this paint-splattered gown and I really loved the look. And those colors are gorgeous on her!!!
SO CLOSE, AND YET SO...ahem...HAIR
Girl...no. I love this dress! Love it! But that HAIR!!!! A dress this big and loud needs sleek, pulled-back, hair.
Teyonah Parris could have killed it if she had just rocked a low ponytail.
BEST DRESSED
Emma Roberts was everything a young starlet should be. Young, elegant, fresh, modern. Perfect. I literally gasped when I saw her.
WORST DRESSED
Someone call the Paramedics! Big Bird has been attacked!!! Oh, wait. It's just
Heidi Klum. For a fashion mogul and a super model this look is inexcusable. Seriously, I need her to take out a full-page ad in the Times and write an apology letter to the masses. This is a crime against humanity AND Muppets AND the color yellow.

I knew you'd call them on the nude. Those were bad. It's one thing on a figure skating costume, it's a whole 'nother thing on the red carpet!
Loved Amy Pohler's dress, but the hair!! It didn't look like red carpet hair to me.
Your best dressed was on my "meh" list. I found it to be kind of washed out and blah. I think Niecy Nash might be my favorite, though there were several good ones.
