midnight ramblings + blog facelifts

I know you gave up on me and this blog.
I don't blame you. 
I would too.

For the past two years I have been focusing on my online publishing gig at A Year of FHE and the thing is...I really miss this blog. So, I'm back and I'm better than ever.

This blog face lift is still very much under construction. I'm putting a lot of busy-work in to structuring it better.  So much work that my husband got mad at me tonight for spending the entire evening working on the TRAVEL section instead of folding laundry. Before you get all women's lib crazy on him, this is how it went down.

Me: Let's get some Dr. Peppers, put on a good TV show, and fold ALL the laundry together.

Him: That sounds great!

And then I sat at the computer and worked for 3 hours while he folded the laundry alone.  See? I really am the bad guy.  And yet, I click that TRAVEL link and I feel all accomplished inside.  And laundry folding has literally never made me feel proud and accomplished.

Sorry husband. 
You really lost this battle years ago,
when you married an obsessive project freak who hates folding laundry.
