my life is still spinning.
and spinning.
and spinning.
i decided this week that it's time to simplify. a lot.
i have let go of my last, and longest,
design team spot in scrapbooking.
today i signed off of my plucky momo and healthy momo blogs.
if i ever get to craft again i'll share it here
and i'll be sharing more healthy recipes here as well.
one place.
one blog.
i feel better, but also oddly sad.
it feels like the end of an era when i could juggle everything
and still make cupcakes for orphans.
okay, i never went that far, but this is the end
of doing everything and doing it well.
i choose now to do fewer things
and do them as well as i can.

You are choosing to be a mom. Always a good choice. You will feel better with a more simplified life. You are putting their needs before yours.
Good for you, still tough to make this cuts!
you are not alone - many of us are in the process of simplifying these days!
Hard but good. Good for you!
Can I buy your Paislee Press spot? HA HA! I'll never make it on my own merits so I figure I better resort to corruption!
Good for you for knowing when to let go and what to let go! I am still trying to learn that . . . and I've never even managed to make cupcakes for orphans!
You are smart for recognizing that you can't do it all, all at once!! Many of us take a lifetime to realize this!
I am so impressed. First, that you were juggling so many things already, and secondly, that you have the wisdom to know when to let some things go.
You have a very young baby. Everyone gets a year off. Find your new normal.
Best of luck!
P.s. I absolutely love your award show fashion posts. I don't watch the award shows and I don't follow fashion, but I look forward to your round ups.
thanks for sharing this!!! I feel like I'm out of control, and making things more simple is probably the best thing for me ... just the words I needed to ready today - thank you - and good luck!!! :-)
