I did not get the flu.
Yes, everyone in my world was barfing,
retching,
practically dying.
And by some twist of fate I avoided the flu.
It's a CHA MIRACLE!!!
And now for a CHA to do list....
- Solidify plans of who is watching my girls while I am away.
- Buy cute shoes. (check)
- Organize schedule of CHA meetings and playdates with scrapbooking friends. (check)
- Wax eyebrows.
- Shave legs....debating the validity of this one.
- Pack extra suitcase for acquired goodies.
- Print Freelance Artist business cards (check)
- Make a plan of attack for sweeping the booths (check)
- Dye hair. Cathy Zielske did it, I need to too.
- Pack all pairs of pajamas (roommates probably don't want to see me sleeping in my underwear.)
In other CHA news....after an amazing quantity of blog backlash, Paris Hilton has decided to not conduct one on one interviews. Blast! They offered to have me interview the President of the company distributing the goods. What fun is that? Is he a ridiculously spoiled heiress? I doubt it. I still get to take photos of her and say "Crafting's HOT!" a lot. My co-workers should love that.
Did you see the October Afternoon sneak of their brand new Cherry Hill line?
I could go swimming in that Cherry paper.
To DIE for!

Love that OA stuff.
Can't wait to see what you make with it.
So glad you didn't get sick!
Way to dodge the Flu-bullet! It surprises me that with my 4 kids always carrying something, that I don't spend my whole life sick! (Although, Griffin is sick now and I haven't been feeling that great. Maybe I spoke too soon!) :p
And the Paris Hilton thing DOES NOT surprise me and I am disappointed for you. You'll still have a fantastic time at CHA. I wish I was going!
I just love October Afternoon!! Yummy!
Bummer about the PH interview!!
Have a wonderful time at CHA - I'm jealous! :) Love the cherry paper, too. So cute!
shaving your legs for CHA is totally overrated and a waste of time - instead you could be thinking of all the FUN you're gonna have!! :-)
How disappointing about Paris ditching the interview. I was excited to see you make fun of her.
That layout is amazing.
That October Afternoon line is delightful!
So glad you're not sick.
Aw darn it, I was totally looking forward to your Paris interview.
I've already got my shoes, I have a hair color appt. this Saturday, and I'm considering shaving my legs too. I still need to print business cards. It seemed so far away, and now it's totally not!

I can't wait to see you at CHA in all of your new shoe glory. :)
And I LOVE the new OA line. I hope it hits stores soon. I must add it to my collection.
Thanks for the smile. It was a long, difficult day, and your blog made me happier.
Hugs & Smiles,
Megan
Have a wonderful time at CHA! (I'd just skip the shaving bit too...)
What a cop out by Paris....it's only because she heard you were wearing a Bejewled outfit and knew that she could not compete! Cause you are hot!
you must have a horse shoe up your butt, congrats on not getting the flu :) I just saw all that cherry hill stuff on the OA blog... ahhhhhh spring CHA is always SO EXCITING YAY
