Later in the evening I prepared to take photos from the day off of my memory stick to upload to my Project 365 gallery. And I noticed a few extra photos on my card. Fifty-Nine extra photos to be exact. Ella got a hold of my camera and went wild.
Here is a small sampling.

Notice the photo in the bottom left of the unsuspecting and slumbering mother. Shockingly shirking her duty. We have decided a child's digital camera is definitely on her Birthday gift list come February.

I got little man one for his second birthday and his "kam-krantz" is one of his favorite toys!
My daughter who is 3 1/2 got one for her 3rd Birthday and loves it - i even got some good photos from it - great to do a LO from their prospective!
I was always fascinated with cameras as a child, but was never allowed to use one. My grandma finally let me take some photos with her camera when I was in 5th grade. I think a camera is an absolutely wonderful thing for a child to play with! (as long as it's not an expensive one, haha!) Any time my kids express interest in something creative, I'll try my best to facilitate. :) So I think it's great that you guys are going to get her a kid's camera! Smart smart smart.
My oldest picked up a camera at 5 and has never put it down. My youngest picked one up at 4. both of them have great eyes and totally see the world different than we do. We have tons of photos of lego creations, forts and not so attractive photos of mom. I think it's great especially with digital to let the gets at it. Get one that works for them and teach them how it functions! You'll love the pics they take. Oh and don't worry we have pictures of the adults in our house sleeping, taken by the kids they were suppose to be watching:)
Super cute. I have 3 girls (8, 6, and 3) and all three have their own cameras. The older two each have decent beginner cameras ($100 to $150 range from Costco) while the 3 year old has a Fun Shots digital camera (on sale for $20). I have really been able to use this as a teaching opportunity for not only creativity, but also responsibility. Let me just say you may have a photographer in the making. How cute it would be to put her photos in a mini album or should I say her first portfolio.
Life is always interesting with little ones.
The foot shot is the best. :)
