Last night I joined facebook.
But I had a very good reason.
I reunited with my long lost best friend Lolly.
Lolly and I met in a training class at a crappy telemarketing job. We were instantly close. We were inseparable after that. I loved those times with her. Then a bad marriage and a move across country put our friendship on hold. I just thought of her last week and how much I missed her. And now we are back in touch. BFF's (as the punk kids say)! We talked on the phone last night and caught up and it was like the old cliche that is like most cliches...so true. It felt like no time had passed at all.
As my Ella would say, "I feel happy in my heart".

Facebook can be addictive. I convinced my mom to join and she uses it more than I do. :)

I am so glad that we got back in touch. There is a little bounce that has returned to my step now!
