Resurfacing (a.k.a. I survived Girls' Camp)

6.28.2014
Okay, this post title is pretty dramatic.  I actually really LOVED my two mornings at Girls' Camp. But the prep leading up got a bit stressful towards the end. So the survival is more about pulling off many a craft project and getting there without losing my mind.

Also, I think you may know I kind of dislike teenagers, as a general rule.  But these teens were pretty awesome (except one, who was still awesome, but she did try my patience at one point).

In the end everything was made on time, delivered, and the craft classes were fun to teach and I loved having a break from my normal life these days.

I ran a class on making jewelry using Mod Melts, which I had never used before my prep for camp and which are AMAZINGLY FUN, easy and cute. They were a HUGE hit with the scouts.  Again, I'll include a full tutorial on these a bit later.

I also prepped some materials for a cool bleach t-shirt project.  I am writing up a full tutorial for this blog currently, since the other tutorials out there online for this craft get it ALL wrong. Just saying.
