Freeze-A-Thon time

5.16.2014
Week 19.5 and the morning sickness rages on.  It is punctuated by the occasional migraine.  Fun times.

Yesterday afternoon I planned a Freeze-A-Thon for this weekend to fill my freezer with easy and healthy meals or my family may just starve to death.

For details on how I plan and execute a Freeze-A-Thon click here.

On the menu:

Chicken Pot Pie (x3)
Chicken Tenders (x30)
BBQ Pork (2 crockpot meals)
Whole Wheat Waffles (x30)
Mini Omlettes (x24)

The large, stand-up freezer is defrosted and cleaned out completely.  It's ready to start working to make my life easier.

Oh, do you want copies of my newly designed Freeze-A-Thon Planners?
Because I love you.

Holy smokes super woman! That list amazing- good luck this weekend. What are the ing and fin categories on the sheet?

One of my favourite quick meals is a whole chicken in the crockpot. I add some spices and water and it cooks up juicy and tender and falls off the bones. So quick and simple and cheap. We use the meat for sandwiches, on a salad, in a soup or as is with side dishes. One smalll chicken makes 2 meals for us.

When you posted the picture on FB I almost asked for the planner sheets. Glad I waiting. You rock!
Hope the cooking goes well!

I did this with pregnancy #3 and #4 and it quite possibly saved my life. I may do this before the summer craziness hits. You have earned 5 gold Mom of the Year stars. Go Emilie!
